About us

The Assist Local Network concept  was born out of the Local Impact team of Lakeside Church in Folsom, CA and an accumulation of more than 30 years of community service work beginning in Santa Ana, CA.  Operation Love was founded by Assist Local Network's founder and members of local community churches in southern California in the late 1970s, to serve those in poverty in Santa Ana. During the time that Operation Love served the community, the City of Santa Ana awarded Operation Love and it's members the LISA (Let's Improve Santa Ana) community service award for having the most effect on poverty and improving the quality of life for those in need.

The Local Impact team of Lakeside Church received the Community Partnership Award in 2008 from the California State University at Sacramento for their continued work at Blanche Sprentz Elementary School in Folsom, CA. The community Partnership Award honors outstanding educators and the important contributors of businesses, community organizations, and individuals to local public education.

Awesome, we connected!

Someone responded to your Newsletter and is donating a case of tangerines, clothes and a bike. Just so happens I have a little guy with his mom in need of a bike because his was stolen at Christmas. What a huge blessing they're in for!

Thank you for being a part of His work! :)
